Why are illicit anime streaming services so abundant in comparison to similar services but for movies and non-anime tv shows?

How come they work so flawlessly and are not taken down for such long periods of time when their counterparts are laggy, unreliable and are being constantly taken down, forced to migrate etc.

What are the resons for such?

it all depends on who made the product, if it's a small Japanese company, then it has few resources and no one cares about its statements, if it's a Netflix or Disney product, then they have more resources and there are people who monitor it. It's the same with movies

These companies love to shoot themselves in the foot. Piracy will always win, it's generally better.

Probably because Anime is still pretty niche, especially fansubbed stuff from Japan that has no western release (yet). But the sites do go down and get replaced with new ones, its not that bulletproof

it's all about money, how much does the product cost ?, is it worth the fight of taking down ? how much can the product owner can put into protecting their product or how much resources the have ?

Thinking about it, if it's anytbing NINTENDO, the the japs will absolutely rake you over the coals, even sharing music or just.... publishing your own gameplay.
