Let's take this thread for example
The forum attempts to change breachforums(.)st and breached26tezcofqla4adzyn22notfqwcac7gpbrleg4usehljwkgqd(.)onion links depending on which URL you are using. If you're using clearnet, it'll use clearnet. If you use the onion, it'll use the onion.
E.g.
Test (.onion)
Test (.st)
Both will end up linking to the same domain, either .onion or .st, depending on what you're using.
Edit: It appears that either at the attempt of posting this thread, or while trying to edit this thread, it has changed both links to the .onion link (what I'm currently using) - you should understand the point regardless.
This also applies to proxified images. So the [ img ] tag in the above thread I pointed out, pointing towards "/uploads/avatars/avatar_10.png" ends up being altered as well.
This results in the image src being located at: (the .onion link)
Unfortunately , duckduckgo doesn't proxify onion links.
