What are the best sport animes? Looking for some motivational stuff - feeling a near connection for sport. Are there some good animes out there doing that? Thanks! (doesnt matter what kind of sport)

I'm not usually into sports anime, but I checked out Blue Lock recently and liked it a lot. I guess it isn't really a traditional sports series, but it basically takes a lot of tropes from battle shonen and applies them to soccer.

For motivation and shit then yes definitely Hajime no Ippo.....pretty good and has some funny scenes too...

BLue lock is good...S2 is falling of coz of the production qualtiy Coz of S1 people expected a lot from S2....you can still watch it...

Aaoashi is also there only 1 season for now...

Kuroko's Basketball i have heard of...i haven't seen it but its there you can check it out if need be

And then lastly Haikyu...the infamous volleyball anime...Pretty sick...

I would say
#1 Yowamushi Pedal (I bought a racing bike after watching it)
#2 Hajime no Ippo (About boxing, I guess the visuals are not for everyone, but this one gave me goosebumps)
#3 Kuroko no Basuke (I went to some real games after watching it and finally understood it)
