COVID Guidelines for In-Person Meetings

Groups Meetings
1.      Ensure all invites receive advanced notice that masks and social distancing are required in SBHC buildings.  All invitees must be strongly encouraged to bring their own mask. SBHC wants to reserve our inventory of masks for clients.
2.      Provide the front door greeter (St George) or front desk staff (Cedar City) with a typed list of group invitees, with space for the participants to sign in and write their temperature.  If the group has more than five invitees, please provide a person to help the greeter/front desk to check invitees into the building at the front door.
3.      For SHBC treatment groups a SHBC staff assisting with the group will check clients in at the front door or escorts the clients in the building from residential programs.
4.      Instruct invitees to not to congregate in the hallways or waiting areas, ask them to go directly to their meeting locations.
5.      All tables, chairs and door knobs must be cleaned with disinfectant before and after meetings.
6.      If the group has a break, instruct all invites not to congregate in the hallways or waiting areas, please ask them to take breaks outside and social distance if they want to remove their masks.
7.      If the group meeting is having lunch, please ensure the meeting room is large enough to accommodate social distancing while the group eats.
8.      In St George, the third-floor boardroom and second floor conference will be available for daytime meetings.  First priority for the second-floor conference rooms will be given to adult treatment group, then meetings held by SBHC staff.  All Youth IOP activities will be held on the first floor.

Individual In-Person Meetings
1.      Ensure all guests receive advanced notice that masks and social distancing are required in SBHC buildings.  All guests must be strongly encouraged to bring their own mask. SBHC wants to reserve our inventory of masks for clients.
2.      Make every effort to ensure that all in-person meetings are listed on your schedules, so if needed, front desk staff can verify the meeting.
3.      Instruct all guests not to congregate in the hallways or waiting areas, when they enter the building ask them to go directly to their meeting location and leave the building promptly after the meeting.
4.      Disinfectant and hand sanitizer will be made available to staff to disinfect their offices.  How staff disinfect their offices will be at the discretion of each staff depending on the length of the meeting and personal interaction of each meeting.
