So, it appears Clearview Facial Recognition Company wants data to help with their global facial recognition efforts.

Yes it does!!  China already has their social system that tracks people's faces to know where they are at anytime and shows a "social score" to know if they are a good citizen or one they need to be concerned about.  If the world adopts this philosophy then we might as well live in the Matrix.
