Why do we all still use discord and telegram when most if not all of us know that it sucks security and privacy wise.Like for actual communicating why do we use them when there are better alternatives.

I think ppl use them bc they're comfy nd everyone else uses them nd they have all those features, like u can customize ur profile or have cute stickers while most privacy focused platforms barely have that nd their GUIs are ugly

that's fine if your just some kid like me not really doing anything here but once you start to deal in sensitive stuff i think you should use better platforms to communicate with your partners or clients no matter the UI

well i rly doubt ppl who are actually dealing with "sensitive stuff" are using discord as their main platform
