Do you think it’s better to marry or stay single

Building a career instead of getting married is a great thing, but today I read a quote from Marilyn Monroe: 'It's great to stay single and build a career, but on cold, dark nights, you can't snuggle up with your career.' What do you think?

You can build a career while married. You can be more focused on yourself if you are going at it single. I would find it more beneficial to get married. There will always be someone to have your back and vice versa. Nothing wrong with being with the same person for the rest of your life especially with the number of STDs out there claiming damaged goods.

Even Genghis Khan, the emperor who conquered half the world, said, 'If a man has a woman who truly loves him behind him, there’s nothing he cannot accomplish.'

Well, why did you share a moderate opinion? What is the basis for your thoughts, and why do you think that way

Marriage is just a relationship with a legal contract, it's not an ode to love in the slightest. Love can be just as special without all the ceremony & performance

I guess you're right, but married people seem happier than singles

Of course, who wouldn't be happy with someone they love? Smile

But I would say, that a relationship without the need to marry can be just as wonderful, some people treat marriage like an inescapable contract

About 60% of people see marriage just like you described—as an inevitable contract. But I think, my friend, marriage is more than a contract. I look at my married friend and then at myself, and despite being married, his life seems better than mine. Maybe people go through a mental shift when they get married
