Hello everyone.

It's frustrating to have to provide an update like this, but the community should be aware.

If you weren't aware, the BFv1 (not our current forum) database was submitted to HIBP:

Not only was the database submitted to HIBP, but it's being actively sold/leaked by at least one person - even attempting to do so on our forum. For that reason I'm sure we're going to see it public soon enough. Judging by the 212k users, this is likely an older database months before the closing of BFv1, seeing that my last backup of the forum has 336k users. Regardless, it's not surprising anymore seeing as how RaidForums had its database leaked, multiple other forums have recently had their databases leaked, and now BFv1 has it's database leaked.

As I've said in all my previous updates, we're going to see a continued campaign attempting to destroy the community. Whether from law enforcement, or from the degenerates unhappy that our community is still here. We're going to do everything to protect users, but I encourage everyone to practice even the most basic opsec to make leaks like this useless.  We have a tor mirror, we have 2fa, and we are working now faster than ever to provide increased functionality to protect user information.
