Why do so many rappers die of overdoses?

Do you think the glorification of drugs in Hip-Hop music is a potential reason for the seemingly increased amount of overdoses of rappers compared to other music genres? It seems like every year some big rapper is found dead of an overdose. Would rapping about drugs less help solve the problem in your opinion?

Definitely yes, popularizing drugs by mentioning them encourages us to find out what it is and how it works, but at the same time it is difficult to wrap our heads around the effects of something we have not experienced, so it encourages us to try it. On the other hand, there are works that describe drugs very broadly but in a negative way.

[Verse 4: Zdechły Osa]
Always Drug, always Style, always Third Eye
To avoid a quick death, from everyday escape
Fuck opium and pills, they're little devils
God save me, and give the boys a hand
And let's hope the woman comes up with everything
I can't believe it anymore
Please hold her or I'll burst, this is about life, don't you see?
Don't let me commit suicide or I'll go after her
And in the pharmacy, overdoses fly by
Always Alone, Always Style, Always Third Eye
I don't want to be alone anymore, but welcome to where you die
And it doesn't bloom, and the silhouettes, like in the Academy of Fine Arts, are only written in chalk on the sidewalks

[Chorus: Pesh]
I want to be there, I want to be alone, all nights and days
Overdose, once, so it won't be bad anymore
Let me feel it, let me feel it
I want to be there, I want to be alone, all nights and days
Overdose, once, so it won't be bad-e-e anymore
Let me feel it, let me feel it
I want to be there, I want to be alone, all nights and days
Overdose, once, so it won't be bad anymore
I want to be there, I want to be alone, all nights and days
Overdose, once, so it won't be bad-e-e anymore
Let me feel it, let me feel it
