While trying to visit dark.fail i found something interesting. i mistyped dark.fail as dakr.fail, and i thought it would not lead to anything, but it did show me a fake version of the website. I became interested, and tried some other combination of characters and here are the fake websites i found:
DaKr.fail
Drak.fail
ADrk.fail
Drk.fail
Dak.fail
Ark.fail
The yellowed ones are the more realistic versions, having all the mirrors, pgps and accurate times (dakr.fail shows only "Today" as the date and lacks the things mentioned).
These are the ones that redirect you to dakr.fail:
darl.fail
sark.fail
darj.fail
datk.fail
The oldest one, DaKr.fail is 1478 days old, and the most recent one, Ark.fail, is 1195 days old. The registrar differs for each one; some are PublicDomainRegistry, some Namsilo, and some Namecheap. DaKr.fail alone seems to have been made by a different person since it is less realistic and has a different fake onion website. All of them seems to be targeting the Archetyp market since that is the only different website listed.
