Further Encryption Options

In order to login to my BF account, I am required to plug in two physical FIDO keys into my device. One of which is authenticated via my remove device, and the latter is via my biometrics.

I've been wondering, as a potential failsafe, would the staff's development team consider adding a function that you're private messages, account information, would be encrypted further? Essentially a PGP based system.

Any thoughts?
I bring this question up because I've seen a lot of forums lack the appropriate security and privacy functions to protect their users.

Staff needs to be transparent about this. And should have already implemented appropriate measures.

I think adding a system for hardware based 2FA would be a great idea. I personally already use YubiKeys for everything, it would be nice to use it on here as well.

Trust nothing server-side in my humble opinion. For more sensitive discussions, use off-site resources such as: matrix, jabber, etc..
