Keeping an IG account alive

I've been having some issues keeping a privacy focused IG account alive. I've used a random SMS verification as well as a @Proton email so I'm sure they're tagging the account that way. At this point I need to upload a government ID to keep the account (zero followers and about a month old) alive.

What do you do to operate social media with privacy in mind? What fake ID generators are decent these days?

Might be stupid, I never actually tried this on IG but what about using some leaked real id. You can find some on google images or the likes or might be lucky with some past breached data.

I'm going to go looking for some today. There was a cool generator called onlyfake but it's down now.

You could also buy the account instead of creating it yourself.

Or you could try scanlab. If you want to save money you can converse with chatGPT (throw some bucks at it) to go about training and your creating your own generator.

Social Media's idea of privacy is just a joke at this point mate

I agree, social media is one of the biggest liabilities to have
Just looking through someones twitter, instagram or facebook followings alone can yeild a lot of information about that individuals interests.
When you factor in the type of content they post, the type of brands they wear in their images, the destinations the appear in, the type of friends they have, the type of lifestyle you can assume they're trying to portay (just to name a few... there's millions of points) - you can really learn a lot; Literally just one social media profile is just all you need before knowing how to target someone.
Social media isn't worth it these days, better off just deactivating your real one and soley using a burner account under a fake identity like the op is doing.

And that's just one side of the spectrum, on the other end you have these social media platforms that seemingly know you better than you know yourself building profiles of you, tracking what sites you visit, monitoring your every move - just to make it easier for advertisers to target you.

In a dystopian society, a platform like facebook could be easily be used with detrimental & oppressive effects.

I mean, they're even asking for ID these days?!?!

Thanks. Social media was pwned in 2016 by Cambridge Analytica. In terms of OPSEC, if you have a smart phone in your pocket, you're breached. There is a ton of spooky shit you can do these days.

Funny enough, I got a VOIP burner number and IG wouldn't take that. I've got some photos and ID on standby for when I get flagged again. Most likely it's because I'm using a VPN. I was thinking social media may also be extra paranoid around the US election. I've used a burner twitter account for almost a year now with no hiccups. I've lost about 5-6 ig accounts for zero reason.

Everything is weird these days. Next best thing is a SIM I buy for cash but this is getting insane. It's a good exercise though.

if you are using a VPN, and it is a common one, IG will flag the shit out of you.
They will probably also get your phone information (if they can) and fingerprint you.

When you create an account, use a phone, get a burnerphone and sim (or esim if the phone can handle it). If you are not able to get a sim, you can just use a public wifi.
That should be enough to keep it alive in the beginning
