In November 2024, Liberty Latin America, a leading telecommunications company operating in over 20 countries across Latin America and the Caribbean, had their GitHub access tokens stolen by hackers. The private repositories were later leaked on a popular hacking forum.
The compromised data includes AWS & CMS scripts, hard-coded credentials & API keys, front-end source code, data used for testing, and more.
There is also some source code related to their child companies, including FLOW Jamaica and MASMOVIL.
