Another day,another unsecured database.A subsidiary of the travel giant Mondee left open a massive database that exposed sensitive customer information.A malicious intrusion struck at the heart of astronomy's epicenter-NOIRLab,forcing Hawai'i Gemini North observatory to suspend operations.Coming to the topic of data breaches,Serco experienced one,which impacted the personal information of at least 10,000 people.Here are the top 10 highlights from the past 24 hours.

  An unsecured 1.7TB database belonging to TripPro spilled customers’personal information,including names,gender,dates of birth,home addresses,flight information,and passport numbers,among others.

  The National Science Foundation's National Optical-Infrared Astronomy Research Laboratory(NOIRLab)in the U.S.was targeted by a cyberattack,resulting in the suspension of astronomical observations at the Gemini North telescope in Hawai'i.

  Delaware County’s Crozer Health,along with its affiliated hospitals,experienced a ransomware attack,leading to system shutdowns.The attack affected the entire Prospect network,and the situation is currently being evaluated.

  Outsourcing company Serco disclosed a data breach where personal information,including SSNs,of over 10,000 individuals was stolen from a third-party vendor's file transfer server.
