There are too many companies shilling all of these privacy and security services and tools, even though they're no better than all the other hosts. What I don't understand is how people still fall for these services even after they released transparency reports stating just how frequently they're cooperating with government requests: https://protonmailrmez3lotccipshtkleeget...ansparency.

Email is an insecure form of communication and you should always encrypt your messages yourself. On the other hand, this is a total opsec failure on the side of the person who linked their iCloud email to the proton account.

this should not be exactly a surprise. Long ago proton changed terms and clearly stated they would cooperate with the law agencies
