Question about the safety of shared files on the forum

Hi everyone,
I'm new here and have been browsing through some of the shared content, especially the files uploaded by other members. I have a quick question:
Are the non-official files posted by users verified or checked in any way before being made available? I assume the official ones are safe, but I'm not sure about the rest. Is it generally safe to download user-uploaded files, or is it better to stick only to official sources?
Thanks in advance to anyone who can clarify this for me!

well im pretty sure that there is some malware prevention system
by the admins, so i would think that if anyone try's to upload some info-stealer or something it would
be blocked.

but i personaly would not run any type of compiled software uploaded here by a
non-admin or regular person without quickly going over it.
