Would you rather be alive 2000 years ago, or 2000 years in the future?

do i get to see what each choice has to offer? like, will earth be exploded in 2000 years or completely apocalyptic? will it be dust and ash? and if it's 2000 years *ago*, can i go anywhere? or just a random place?

if yes, and the world is in good shape in 2000 years, definitely choosing the future. right now i'm alive at a time where i get to experience quality of life, and not die from the bubonic plague, but just early enough to where i can't experience the insane technological advances humanity will (hopefully) come up with. i'll definitely be long gone. Smile

and hey, i can open a history book and there'll be a 800-page summed up version of what happened 2000 years ago, and anything i can't find i can just google. i also definitely do not want to (theoretically) alter anything historically.  Wink

so yes, depending on a few factors, definitely future. 100%

the technological wonders that may be discovered, and the opportunity to see the people of the future. Others say they would rather live in the past because they don't think humans will be around in 1,000 years
