This question is kinda pointless.
The best programming language to solve what problem?
If you need to go low level, C or C++, but you are not going to build a REST API framework using C. Java is maybe a better option. Or if your api is SOAP, perhaps look at c#
For scripting, bash and python rocks. IaC, ruby is your language. Frontend work? gotta be JS or TS.
The right tool for the right job. Or be the guy that solves all problems with a hammer. C or assembler.
