I find it tedious to upload images to external sites like uguu.se just to share them in the shoutbox. I suggest implementing a feature that allows users to drag and drop or paste images directly into the shoutbox for automatic posting.


Considering the potential resource demands, this feature could be exclusive to GOD or MVP users.

yeah sorry but this is not likely to happen
we dont want to store anything due to the weirdos on our site
therefore i will say denied but will leave this thread open to further suggestions

or do bf servers automatic upload to some public leaky bucket or any thing which allows scripted upload so servers only cost bandwith and not the storage but this feature can be abused by some peoples to do excessive bandwith uploading to make bf run out of bandwith but if our bandwith is unmetered then consider this solution

maybe upload it to the service i mentioned above (uguu.se or any other image upload service) so it wouldn't be stored in your servers?

I wanted to do something similar but for the SB and the forum in general. Each user could upload an image in a specific format and assign an ID like :test: to create their own collection, and then everyone could use the emote by using the same ID.
