SQL Injection is still quite common, remember to check for dba permissions when you find one, in some dbms you can easily escalate to rce.

Eh idk maybe I'm sped but I've literally not found it on any newer site

Idk much about SQLI, but my guess is that if they are present on a modern site, you would see them more on 'hidden' service URLs. I've seen SQLI done on sites like Facebook in 2022 (for bug bounties), and the URLs they've been done on require prior knowledge to how Facebook operates its service.
