I think media representation of the Chinese perspective of WW2 is poor. When mainland Chinese make WW2 films they portray the communist PLA as the main heroes.

If I think about it, there's barely any Asian WW2 movies. Aside from JAV of course.

It probably helps that there aren't any whiny Jews and 'American Are Number 1' propaganda to keep that chapter of Asia alive.
