personally, I love the 1999 version because the soundtrack is better, and it holds a special place in my childhood memories . also the events felt more realistic,
while the 2011 version shifted more towards the idea of Animes like Dragon Ball, in terms of concept—not to take anything away from Dragon Ball of course <3

I'm choosing of course the 2011, but i swear I have a lot of bad feeling for the author because he doesn't want to finish it.

For me the animation of 1999 is cool but 2011 is way better. I am really sad because the anime was stop due the mangaka cant finish the manga or even release new arcs...
