* they have common enemies and a desire for revenge
* they have common economic interests

I don't disagree with you, but if elon does one thing that trump doesn't like he will "fire" him like he has done to those close to him in the past.

it only seems that everything is so simple, on the one hand Trump will not be able to fire Musk without consequences and on the other hand he has no reason to do this.
Everything that Donald wants to say, Musk and others say for him and he can play on this

Musk & Trump are both highly narcissistic. They will be tearing chunks out each other before long.
Musk hate? Just look at his history of broken promises, his meddling behaviour, his insistence on 'seeding' the world (Which is both creepy and utter cringe) The guy is a moron, he has a ketamine addiction which absolutely explains his behaviour in interviews.

You are judging everything by its external manifestations again.
When it is not clear what is happening, you just need to wait a little. The main vectors will appear.
Think about , Trump has not yet taken office, and his enemies should already be reacting to Musk's statements.
