hello, i wanted to share a story that has never been documented before. i have heard of it many many times by relatives and today i decided to look it up online for more information. but no information witch is crazy cuz this shit rivals the North Hollywood shootout
So, on ??/??/???? in Shkoder, Albania, early in the morning, two men blew up a large military weapon container and stole weapons, explosives, and body armor. They started running with them around the city and shot dead anyone who saw them (killed three people alone where my dad used to live). The police had found out and were chasing them, so they tried to trick them by going another way by climbing a wall and going in a different direction. It didn't work because my dad and his friends were there, and they didn't want to kill kids. They climbed the wall anyway, but they were soon surrounded, so they got into a random person's house and took them hostage. The police didn't give a fuck and shot at them, and they were not willing to negotiate (I say police, but it was cops carrying assault rifles). So, for some reason, they let the hostages go, and the police tried to give them a chance to surrender, but they didn't take it because they knew they would just get tortured and executed. So they fought back. The police tried to close in on them, but they just threw explosives to flush them out until the police lost their temper and drove a fucking tank through the building, crushing the two men to death.
Turns out they wanted to kill what was effectively the "leader" of the city, pretty much the person with the most authority in that city. Nobody knows why. So yeah.
true story. and i haven't even told you the craziest part, and sadly can't tell you the craziest part due to privacy reasons.
