totally agree, gettin more comfy with linux has been a game changer tbh. i checked out gtfobins and it's kinda wild how many normal tools can be used for priv esc lol. been messing around w vim and find on a test vm, some of the stuff actually worked which suprised me. thx for the link, def gonna dig into it more.
also if anyone's lookin to go the other direction and harden linux instead of breaking it, i found these pretty useful:
