question regarding vms

i know mostly everyone uses vms but do you guys feel like kali linux is needed or do you even prefer it over windows and just running wsl in like a windows 10 vm or you would rather to use kali linux vm i just wonder what you guys prefer thats it.

For pentesting, use Parrot OS, Kali has seen its best days.

But for general use I recommend Mint.

I recently set up a VM for retropie, packed with all the emulators, and all my roms in 1 file, quite handy shit.

i use windows but would honestly prefer using linux but im too damn lazy to install it man..

I do groan a bit when I load up anything Linux.

Windows totally spoiled us with just... easy use OS's
