I've never really been a fan of the Isekai genre because I feel like most of them use the same tropes and don't focus enough on the world and characters.

<_< ye Im not a fan of the Isekai genre either but I do know a guy that says Gate or Outbreak Company would be pretty close to what you are looking for.
