I guess there's a lot of confirmation bias of sorts these days with the internet. The full on crazies used to be isolated, no one would agree with the insane shit they thought. Now, you can find a place where people will agree with you on almost anything.

I know the type, I've actually met a few from some time I spent actually in Japan. It's truly odd and worrying how into it they get.
