As we continue to grow, there still seems to be a lot of new people who join the forum without understanding how our forum works. My perspective as administrator is different than those who join this forum just looking for data, leaks, etc. I'm opening it up to the community on providing some things they would like to see included in our BF guide, as well as writing out their own guides/section guides that can help benefit our forum.

Users who contribute to the guide will be given credits for their effort. Further I'd encourage anyone who speaks another language to help translate as we move along so that all users internationally can understand how our forum works and its rules.

So far the most important things seem to be understanding:

- Credits
- Rank/Upgrades
- Scam Reports / Reporting Scammers
- Escrow
- General Rules

to try and sum things up regarding the things you have mentioned above,

credits:

I would strongly suggest a welcome message to new members specifically remembering them with a link to read the completed guide, or have the guide in a smaller format sent to them through that same message (Private messages you receive are very noticeable in whatever subsection of the forum you are.)

ranks:

I have seen previous messages that you guys were working on more features for the ranks, and it's understandable that it's hard to think of valuable new features, I somehow do want to refer back to the first topic and say that credits should have more use for them.

scam reports/reporting scammers/escrow:

These have many things in common, I would firstly like to say that it should be included in the welcome message that you and shiny are the official forum middlemen, (knowing you guys are busy with the feature to have automated escrow, the same applies, still in the welcome message a refer to think of automated escrow where further details are written).
For the scammers and reporting scammers, I strongly encourage you guys to have a message in a small banner displayed on the persons profile that is reported for a scam. (I have seen cases where people were scammed in the process of them also having a scam report. having the small banner on their profile would likely discourage most people to engage in further deals.) Also worth to mention that people who are reported against scam should NOT have the ability to post in marketplaces, and/or sale threads temporarily removed. (I would love to ask you guys although it would be asking alot of you to lower the bar of escrow requirements. most scam threads aren't over $300 - but in case of automated escrow this would ofcourse prove its value.)

I think,  as @zehq had write before, can be useful a little initial guide
send the guide with the welcome message
noone i think read for real all the rules in the frist day


credits/ranks:
you start earn credits after 10 posts!!!!  (many new users ask  in sb:  why I not get credits and so..)
that you can buy  credits, that you can buy ranks (with link)

middleman:
who are official middlemans, but for amount > 300$

important rules:
NO CP
forbidden sell public data
forbidden sell/post credits card
forbidden sell documents
forbidden dox other members
no firearms/weapon and drugs shit
only english language


scam:
make clear that scammer are not welcome and banned
that you can make a scam report
and a link at the scammer section

Also as a quick extra note and bump for this thread,

regarding credits:
as you can see in this example, I've seen more people confused by this, now me myself just figured it out eventually by common sense but haven't really seen it explained anywhere else.. (might be on me for not seeing it mentioned somewhere.)

ranks: I would also like to see more clarification on this . (Perhaps these could be added in the upgrade section)

I agree with @Tanaka, I would only suggest changing earning credits after the 11th post. There is a daily limit of 10 posts, it might make discourage leechers.

Consider to add translation version of guide into 5 most used international language, that will helpful in some case later in future.

I think our focus with the new escrow system will hopefully reduce the need for adding additional escrow providers and just have the process automated.

change the Verification time to 4 hour, 8 hour, 12 hour and 24 hour
