This is another failed attempt of mine to spark a convo What are your thoughts on the current political world situation? Is a nuclear war gonna happen? I personally I think this is more of a battle for dominance between China and the US. And it's kinda good that the world is getting more multipolar

Of course in the future 80% of nuclear war will occur someday, but when talking about China and the US, of course the US will definitely lose in military strength when compared to China, plus the US economy is currently in a slump because it has a lot of debt for military purposes and not for the development of the country. plus the country's debt is used for war, and the US is a country that is always in conflict

I think China was the main buyer of US debt, so they literally own China money I really hope a nuclear war does not occur, or at least till I am alive, I am such an egocentric. China is winning on all paragraphs, the middle class in China has grown enormously in the past years, they are promoting education, reading, programming etc to the youth, not pointless stuff like "I wanna be a youtuber" idk. But the Chinese are a different type of breed, at least they colonize in a more peaceful manner

Myanmar is still at war, the middle east is unstable besides the countries funded with US Goverment money like the emirates and the saudi's, ukraine is hell, africa is full of terrorism, south america is full of drugs and drug cartels. All the world superpowers (US, China, Russia) are in a constant power struggle and fighting shadow wars through proxy countries. North korea constantly threatening people. India and palestine hate eachother more border conflicts, same with india and china.
I don't think any goverment is perfect, I don't think there is any lesser evil. I think evil lives within every country. All we can hope for is one of those men w/ all the power can keep their ego's in check and not press the big red button
I think we are living in a good time

It's crazy how many conflicts, crisis's, wars, etc can be going on. But the general public never knows or worries about it, because the media only pushes what agenda the goverment wants to achieve. If you can keep the public stupid and unaware then you have a compliant society. I wish people were more educated, and the media provided coverage on important topics

I dont think nuclear war is going to happen (not yet at least) current threats in that domain are all posturing. I think the west (US specifically) is sleep walking into a nasty fall. I don't think they're going to totally collapse but I think they're going to find themselves gradually losing power and will have to deal with the problems that comes with. I pray for their people but their leaders deserve every second of it. I agree that its good that the world is becoming more multi-polar. This is borderline delusional but I like to think that distributed powers would keep each other in check a little more than our current "what US wants, happens" situation.

Really? I am not that familiar with the topic. But maybe because of China's Belt and Road Initiative aka The New Silk Road, as far as I know, they want two - one of which will be the Maritime Silk Road, so I assume it's logical for them to want to influence in Indonesia. I know that China basically owns a lot of Africa lol

The general public worries only about things the media brainwashes it to worry. The world would be a quite better place if people were a bit more educated and did a bit more critical thinking
