I do not judge anyone using telegram, up to this point I have not used it but I have been recommended to use telegram for the purpose of finding jobs and networking, I am sure some of you guys have a telegram account.
Here is my current setup: virtual machine -> whonix gateway -> sms service buying telegram verification with xmr -> register telegram account via public phone registration.
Here is my Issue, the last piece of the puzzle you could say, telegram only accepts registration over a phone, a physical phone, not a virtualized app, I already tried bluestacks, I have not tried Anbox but it seems like Telegram is actively trying to lead people to the app.
As far as I know they used to support registration over the desktop app but that is no more apparently.
Is there some sort of way to register you account over a phone but virtualized? I do not want to have a physical phone.

"Bro governments banned telegram, that means they don't comply, they dont work with feds", great publicity right? just for them to then have deals where they only give out info if you are a rapist or extremist but what counts as extremism, save the children was never about saving the kids but spying, if you actually believe that then you should deserve some jailtime just for that.

Hey, I respect your thoughts on this, but I used to believe that Telegram was the only Messaging App out their which is totally safe. Like they used to say we have a very great team of Moderators and all. I really don't know everything about all this but I very much understand that the people who are at the very top, you know what I mean the top 1% who makes the real decisions, they want our privacy. They want to control us in each and every possible way.
Do you know any better alternatives than Telegram or anyone in the community who knows these things deeply. Please guide us also.
I personally tried an app called Zangi (Available on Play Store). Let me know what you guys think overall about this messaging app and please you can recommend other apps or services also which you guys personally use.
