Naruto I feel gets into the story way quicker, it's the reason why I never really got into One Piece as much as Naruto. Both are still good shows but like, Naruto FTW

I've never watched one piece, but naruto is good. The biggest problem is the fillers and flash backs, but other than that it's good

Yeah, I prefer One Piece a lot more but it's still an ongoing series, even if it's finally getting closer to the end now, so opinions can still change. I dunno if Oda will be able to finish it off with a satisfying ending but hopefully he can.

I have to agree here that one piece fillers are quite anoying. I tried to watch it multiple times and got discouraged every time because of the episodes where little happens. But I found a guide online which episodes are important to understand the storyline and skip the fillers and with that it is much more enjoyable for me to watch. Naruto go overhyped in my youth and did not meet my expectation when I started watching it, but I should try to watch it again when I think about it, maybe now after some time I will enjoy it.

Yea, I certainly prefer the One Piece manga to the anime for that reason. For the anime, an alternative is to check out "One Pace", which is a fan project that cuts out all the anime only material/filler and is as loyal to the manga as possible. It can definitely make the viewing experience a bit more bearable given how lengthy the series is now. Though this can be a downside at times as it causes certain transitions between scenes to be quite abrupt and even non-awful anime only scenes will be cut.

Naruto was great at first, but in the end the gap of power between characters is too imbalance and the fight looks like DBZ. The combat strategies was at first very important, then not so much ...

i think both are good , but one piece is really big series slow pacing so somethings its kinds become boring
