I think it is related to the recent news of arresting Durov at france.

Maybe he is doing some "improvements" regarding security and once he is out of that country he is gonna leak their president nudes or something

Based on the recent events one can say there may be some truth to this. After Durov being arrested at France once he's released he's bound to create a stricter moderated enviroment than the existing one to please the law. Telegram is a legit business after all, it's the platform that's abused by criminals, know the difference. It isn't made for criminals, it's a communication platform made for everyone, criminals have no place there. So the phrase "Telegram is not secure anymore" (Thread title) is incorrect. The phrase "Telegram is not so safe anymore for the offenders" (Linked newsletter) is correct. Read properly & use common sense.

as long as you don't conflict with Russia. maybe you are still safe. unless the backend of TG has been taken over by the Fed (FBI)
