Very large corporations takes vast amounts of private data from individuals, then make money with it. It is more than acceptable. It is the modern day business model. LG makes more money from the data they collect from your "smart" tv, than what they do from selling tv sets. name any smart consumer product, the business model behind it is data, not the device it self. your smartphone is not a phone, it's a data collector. It's a piece of malware you payed for. You PAID THEM to be a victim. I think it is fair to say they collect more data in a day than all the data ever traded on RF, BF, ONNI etc combined!

An individual takes private data from a large corporation, makes money with it, then is labeled a criminal and goes to jail.

Well, this goes without saying, I think for those who understand, it's not news for a long time. It only remains to use phones and other technology wisely, properly manage accounts, passwords, and access rights to microphones, geo, etc.

It should be illegal what these large corporations do with stealing our private data.
Google once tried buying our health information from hospitals in secrets.
Big tech corporations are bad.

Corps run the world mate, like those Cyberpunk Dystopia. The needs of big business always come before the needs of the individual.

It sounds like you fell powerless against the corporate entities and the world is in their favor.
