Any country bordering Russia should be arming itself to the teeth. Russia doesn't just invade. It destroys every bridge, dam, nuclear power station and hospital it can find, not to mention flattening entire cities into dust.

What's amazing is that there isn't any real reporters in the Ukraine reporting on the war. It's all second hand - we need to send in American reporters to tell us what is really going on!

Often those opposed to war are "pacifists" and fall into the following groups:
1) somewhat obscure religious sects (think Amish/Mennonites, certain Buddhists/not all, etc)
2) people who kind of boil it down to "both sides are bad"

I don't think Ukraine is the least corrupt country or the country that best describes the ideals of a democracy BUT...

Russia is invading Ukraine and there isn't invading the other way, it's purely defensive
Russia's explanation of its invasion is absolute garbage. There's more Nazi's in the US and nobody seems to care about them.

My take: invite Ukraine into NATO as of Jan 1st, 2024 and if Russia does not retreat on that day, they have to contend with US/EU and everyone else.
