Recently there's been massive protests in Russia after Navalny's death, where people are out in massive crowds in the streets of Moscow preaching anti-Putin and pro-Ukraine messages to little resistance. Putin is an old man who's going to inevitably die sometime soon. Since this shitty side of the internet relies so much on Russia, what do you guys think will happen if that entire country just collapses?

Imo in either political instability or financial collapse, this side of the internet will still stand strong. That corner of the world will continue to breed great hackers and it ain’t going away. Ransomware groups will continue to grow too.

Im not knowledge about politic, but I suppose that its will depend with the interests that Russia will have in this moment. Maybe a good part of hacking world will get hit, but I think that it will maintain, because not all people depends to the future of this country

Tbh I've seen more hackers getting extradited from the UK and Ukraine, but I think if there's a major shift in general it would lean towards China and North Korea.
