It's because you're not begging enough. Go to shoutbox and plead for credits until someone gives it to you (that's if you can see the shoutbox). Shoutbox users will get exhausted of reading your messages and eventually fall into giving you free credits, make sure you're rude about it too.

I forgot to mention - begging in the shoutbox removes the 5 minimum messages cap.
Each beg in the shoutbox also amounts to 0.5 credits as it detects when you use the words "need", "give me" & "credits" in the same sentence - you just have to wait 24 hours for the credits to reflect into your account after begging.
