never used so cant say from experience, but done buy microsoft and it's ALWAYS installed by default, do i'd suppose it's spyware at least to some extent
Tbh, the skepticism is completely understandable with MS, I'm an Xbox player and I really reckon this 'stick drift' on their pads seems to be worse and worse, with pads lasting only months....It's like they're made to break to keep people re-buying

By default, on Windows with diagnostic data set to optional, Edge sends your history and the field values of the forms you submit (including passwords) to Microsoft.

I know VPN + Tor is supposed to be trash either way you do it in the context of commercial VPN providers. But I wonder what people think about setting up your own foreign VPS for either SOCK5 or VPN tunneling. Since you control the VPS you can specifically disable all logging and set it up in a asian country for example. Curious if anyone has a take on obscuring source traffic any further under such conditions when you're in control of the tunnel endpoint? You could sign up to a VPS with false identity and pay with crypto or just push a trojan out to individuals in a foreign country.
