With all the hype of all the cybersecurity items going on... I would love to know what people think about 2025 being "The Year of the Hacker""? Meaning, no matter the advances in monitoring networks for hacker attacks, the attacks will continue and be successful. I find it interesting that the world keeps building more and more ways to analyze traffic and actions. Since they started doing this, you would think it would have been a hell of a lot easier and cheaper to just rewrite code from scratch and build in security by default. But nooooooooooo, they would prefer to let companies keep building shit and then make money off of their shit getting hacked by selling services.
Can be compared to building cars that have inherent flaws that may cause death.... but rather than fix the flaws, companies would prefer to build 10,000 things to sell to people to try to keep them safe, but in the end, they don't.
What are your thoughts in this area?
