Simulation theory is literally religion for atheists

I know that it's metaphysically sound, but rationally there's literally no evidence to prove that we're in some sort of simulation

social media dismantled all the societal progress made post WW2. people complain about the undue importance placed on things like grades and college degrees but that was actually a conscious effort to shift away from things like wealth, class, ethnicity etc. Ten years from now people will be placing their social media followers instead of their GPA on their resumes.
