Decade ago I got 2 episode of One piece where D. Ace is hanging on a pillar or a mast, the rest of this episode is pirates crying and yelling his name and navies is here staring back to pirates too, and..... that's all.
I get this is supposed to be emotional part, but it's not such enjoyable when you didn't continuously hours of watching to get deeply related to characters.

One Piece is fire, no doubt. But "best" is personal - some people vibe more with stuff like Attack on Titan or Death Note. Doesn’t make One Piece any less legendary, just means tastes differ.

different animes offer different things
one piece world building is among the best but other animes like death note are more suspense so there is no "best"

Best anime? it slaps, but c’mon some arcs move slower than a Marine paperwork line. Still top-tier, but not always fire....... if it can be seen at 1,5x... bad sign

big OP fan here. It certainly is my favourite but to call it the best seems naive. The word "best" could mean a lot of different things, and there's several perspectives to consider.

I can say that it's definitely one of the most appreciated once you get into it, the amount of work oda puts in to the story line

True. Also one piece is the same thing repeating again and again. Every arc is the same Scheme so we know whats abt to happen. They visit the place, find the bad guy (what a coincidence), they loose, then they get healed, learn a new thing from some1 and beat the antagonist. Its the same structure every time so its boring asf. I'm more into hisotry anime like Vinland Saga
