We scrape multiple pages and groups that are old enough because they tend to have better engagement, such as more likes on posts and a larger number of users in the groups.

For fan pages, we retrieve the complete list of posts and process them starting from the very first post on the page. For instance, if the page was created in 2007 or 2008, we begin scraping from that point. Back then, Facebook had less control over post reach algorithms, so posts from that era generally have a higher number of likes. This is how we collect the data.
Now, regarding the date of birth (DOB):

We simply scrape users, whether they are from fan pages, groups, or profile followers. We do not verify the complete details; we only grab the available information and store it in our database.

As for the DOB, Facebook does not provide complete details for all users. For some, it only shows the month and day, while for others, it might only provide the year.

Regarding profile details, it’s possible that some of these accounts are fake on Facebook. For example, as you may know, users from Vietnam often create fake accounts specifically to boost post engagement. This could explain why some DOBs appear unusual or inconsistent.

However, every account comes with a unique UID (User ID), which can be used to visit the profile directly and verify its authenticity.

Yes, most of the emails and phone numbers are extracted directly from profiles, if they are available. Sometimes even hidden information can be extracted if the user hasn’t implemented strict privacy settings.

Another point is that these emails can only be extracted through a specific token; otherwise, you would need to create a bot to manually search profiles, which is a huge workload. With that approach, you would never be able to extract millions of records!

So, the only efficient way is by using a combination of a token and an API, which can perform thousands of searches within few minutes .
