My GF and her parents are coming over in about a week. (horay)

Its the first time i meet them for a longer amount of time, and I'm supposed to cook dinner.

Do any of you know anything that looks (and taste) impressive, but can be cooked by someone so terminally online that he asks breachforums for help.

I basically only eat sandwiches when Im only cooking for me, i have very little knowledge of how to actually impress.

You tried making Thai food, it looked delicious. Even some of them can be spicy.
I've eaten there a couple of times when I went to Thailand.

Quickly get an order of Hello Fresh for the number of people you are serving (Just pick a meal that looks like everyone will like) It comes to your door with simple instructions and it tastes better than any home cooking I have had. They may think you are a chef though

First, check if they have any allergies; Second, check is there are certain foods they do not eat (maybe they are vegeterians); Third, edit your post with Firts and Second so we can brainstrom some ideas.

I've never tried actually, I guess I have about a week to practice. Do you have any specific recipes that come to mind?

Good point hehe, shouldve thought of that!
Seems like I can't edit the post, but I dont think there are any restrictions. She is lactose intolerant, but she has lactase pills so it doesn't matter.

@Miner21 idea is good. My idea: fired rice (see uncle roger YT recipe)I would add sliced grilled chicken to it; or you can go with salmon, some steamed green leaves and mashed potatoes spiced with italian herbs. As a finish I suggest some fruit salad or a cake.

first of all investigate if they are allergic to anything, then ask your girlfriend the tastes of their parents, that way you can move forward, there are several recipes on the internet even on youtube explained everything in detail, good luck! Big Grin

HelloFresh is a great idea and you get deals when you first sign up. The meals come with instructions and you can download the app for step by step instructions. Hope this helps and good luck!
